In case you did not see my reply to Jan and Bill Reeves......thank you both for letting us meet the abandoned greyhound.....never in our lives have we seen such an example of neglect and horrific cruelty. This poor dog is skin and bone and covered in sores , some of them down to the bone. Despite all this, when we arrived he wagged his tail and put his head in our hands to be stroked.

We fell in love with him there and then, and as we said, provided he gets along with our 2 sighthounds we would be priveleged to offer him a forever home with us.

Jan and Bill you were wonderful taking him in as you did and saved him from an almost certain death

to louthlass ....yes i would like it pursued as well !unless you saw this poor dog you wouldnt believe what its been through ....but you know we are putting all our energy into looking after him and getting him well ...and cant think about that as well , i hope the scum that did this rots in hell ! fingers crossed for the test results tomorrow ..and when he is well enough he is going to have a wonderful home for ever and if ever a dog deserved it he does ...

Well Jan and Bill for doing everything for this poor dog. He certainly picked the right house when needing help. Let's hope his tests are clear and he finds a loving home soon. Chrissy

the blood test was for Leish ...which is caused by the sand flies .yes the boy is clear ..yippee !thats one hurdle over few more to go yet though ! he is looking forward to seeing his possibly new mum and dad today ,just eaten his lunch ...Jans special of the day ....doggie chicken stew and rice .

Just been up to visit Riley and he enjoyed his "treats".Next step is to take our sight hounds along to meet him, we are praying that they will get on ok as he is a darling . Jan and Bill are real stars, he looks better already.We have taken photos of him and will try to post them ......if anyone has an inkling who owned him we would dearly love to know !!
