I don't want to spend a fortune on this cos I'm only renting and I won't be taking them with me when I leave so, can anyone suggest where to go?

I need three pine curtain rails, 2x1 metre length and 1x1.20m, with rings, to match one that's already up in the living room.

I tried Curtain World and Mermaid Fabrics last week but £60 is a bit much for 3 little rails, I thought!

Or, does anyone have any they would be willing to sell cheap?

Friends of mine went down to Genc and bought wooded poles for TL5 each and they are going to stain them and make them into curtain poles, great idea and they are longer than a broom stick by the looks of them (they are wider than the door opening. I bought packs of rings from Home Base in the south, a pack of 10 for Euro 1.70 for the pack and they came in different colours as well.

Hope this info helps.

I have used a broom handle for my rail at my front door. I bought the rings at Mermaid but you can get cheaper if you look around. I only need my front door curtain during winter so it will come down and be stored for next year.

We used water pipes in the last house. Painted them and had the ends threaded then screwed on the "Finials" - probably spelt that wrong but mean the curly bits at the end - worked a treat but take care with pipe size it can work out real heavy!
