Hi Can anyone out there tell me where i can get spare parts for a Black and Decker Workmate. new Vise Jaws etc. i have done all their site's. phoned them up and they just tell you to go to their site. Been trying to get new parts now since last October and now i am fed up. Or does anyone have one they would like to sell. The one we have is an old one workmate 800. They still show pictures of it, but try getting stuff from them. Plus the fact i am not very good on the internet to find these things out. please email me if you can come up with anything. valeriebarrett1941@gmail.com Thank you very much. We have an address in the UK to have stuff delivered if we have success in being able to order Val

Val............you need to get the model number of the workmate . it will be on a black sticker somewhere, probably underneath It will have three or four letters then three or four numbers . When you have it, get onto B&D's site and click on parts . Then it will tell you to put the code in . http://www.blackanddecker.com/Parts-Service.aspx Copy this address into your browser and away you go.

Val - I've already told Bill that new 'jaws' can be made out of beech wood - MDF is no good for the type of work [esp. his train bits] that he wants to clamp. Call in and we'll have a word with Kadir - mind you, he'll have to bring the existing wooden jaws so that the holes that the bolts pass through to mount the jaws to the chassis can be copied exactly - we have a pillar drill to do this accurately.

Hi all thanks for info. I have been on those site and they don't do Vise Jaws anymore. Roy said it or they can be made out of Beech Wood. Where can we find that? We did find Pl;y but it was not big or thick enough. So at least it is on the Island now never used to be. A sheet 75tl. Not bad, we need it 14 or 15ply by 2cm thick. Roy email me etc. and about the planes Thanks.
