Anyone else noticed the influx of members offering "we can fix anything IT services" or "Cheap" Electronic Tv's, gadgets, ebooks etc etc.

Obviously the situation concerns you.

If you would like to point out to me which posters are posting more than one thread a day to promote their TRNC business then we can look into it.

'Spamming' is not the word I would use because If you knew what was deleted from this board on a daily basis from the real spammers in China and other countries that have nothing to do with the TRNC then you would understand where the real spam is coming from.

It really is quite simple, you know what rule 16 say's so why ask me about whether it only applies to restaurants.

Anyone is allowed to post on this board to promote their TRNC business providing they do not extract the urine. And I reiterate, if you think that some are taking the proverbial then let us know.

So I will ask you again, out of the 8 links you posted who do you regard as not playing the game?

As for your question: 'At what point do you have to "pay" for advertising?'. I have no idea, I am only a moderator and I do not get involved in 'pay for advertising' and I would suggest you contact Izzet the board owner for an answer to that one.

And finally rule 16 was introduced because advertising by TRNC restaurants got totally out of hand and yes we received a lot of complaints by members which is why the rule was introduced.

So I will invite you to e-mail me and tell me who you think is overdoing their advertising on the board.
