Got SKY HD?.. changes to the channel numbers on Tuesday 1st Feb 2011

If you have SKY HD you should wake up on Tuesday to a new channel numbering regime



Example: SKY Sports HD1 will move from 408 to 401 ( where the std. definition channel was)



Example: SKY Movies Premiere HD will move from 313 to 301 ( where the std. definition channel was)



Example: SKY One HD will move from 170 to 106 ( where the std. definition channel was)



Example: SKY Atlantic ( replaces SKY3) will be on HD on 108 ( don't know if it will be available in Cyprus on a 1.8m dish)

IF you subscribe to SKY HD you can upgrade - for FREE - to 3D broadcasts.. You need a 3D TV and then the appropriate glasses for THAT TV.. there are two types of 3D TV - passive and active.

no idea what freq Atalantic was tested on, but it will be LIVE on Tuesday - on Chl 108 - we just have to PRAY that it will be on a frequency / transponder that works in CY on a 1.8m



At the moment, SKY 3 in std definition requires a 4.2m ..



There WILL be an Atlantic chl in Std. definition - for those without SKY HD.. but ( again) I don't know if it will simply be the old SKY 3 frequency settings - or a new 'place'.. As soon as I know the chl number for the std. def. SKY Atlantic...- I'll post it

Sky 3 on 108 is available on a 1.8 with no problems. I agree with Coffer
