Prime Minister Irsen Kucuk has said that the austerity measures taken by the government was inevitable and was extremely significant for the future of the country. He also added that with these measures the government fulfilled its responsibility for future generations.



Prime Minister Irsen Küçük evaluated the austerity measures taken by the government to Bayrak Haber yesterday.



Explaining that the government is working towards bringing all economic sectors to a viable and sustainable level, the Premier said this decision was final and that government had no intention of withdrawing the measures

Also commenting on today’s demonstration, Mr. Küçük said the protest rally was an attempt to exploit people’s feelings towards Turkey by using the economic measures as an excuse.



Criticizing those organizing today’s demonstration, the Prime Minister said that the protest rally held against Turkey, which is the only country which recognizes the TRNC and has never withheld its assistance and support to the TRNC people had nothing to do with the austerity measures or economic package introduced by the government.
