Wonderunderground weather gives night temperatures for Monday and Tuesday as 0 degrees.

Does this mean tender plants like lettuce and tomatoes should be covered ??

Oh also rain until Monday,but then some sun,but temp.in the day,only 12 deg.

I would definitely cover tomatoes and lettuce otherwise you may well lose them.

Bloody hell,nearly like being in Wales.There I had a warehouse full of bubblewrap !!!!

Had to use it there on the 1st June,one year

It is quite normal to have frost at the beginning of February. Just cover your plants with polythene.
