I have 2 dogs that were here when I moved in 17 months ago,I would like to find a home for them,they can be split.I will gladly send a photo if you e-mail me.david.moss@esend.co.uk

After they have been in their new home I will donate £400 for each dog to their new owners,together with their baskets,cushions and bowl.

Why not be a little more generous and see if KAR could not take them on until they could be re-homed (maybe just your £800.00 would be neough donation but £1,000 would be better) and keep another few dogs with KAR for a few weeks.

We've seen this kind of thing here (KKTC) before and it always ends in tears and re-criminations because almost invariably they take the money, wait until you leave the Island, and then destroy the dog/s, not always in a humane way.

Better to have them put down humanely than a cruel and painful death. I've heard of dogs in that situation being clubbed to death.

What a terrible indictment of our society here. I think the idea of KAR sounds best (if they can do this) because havingt rthe dogs put down is unfair. It is not their fault you are no longer able or want to keep them. But I think it is an absolutely terrible crime that people are greedy for money. Actually it is still on the law books that if anyone harms an animal they can go to prison!

Unfortunately, too many dogs available for good homes now. Saying you will put up money etc. will take the rogue element into the equation. Msg 5 - looks like that this is how it will end up.

Sady for many of us KAR is the firsr port of call , sadly due to them being inundated its an impossible situation. Even if they would like the money which would be a great help to them there is no space x

thanks lilli yes getting to cope with my gransons death it will never go completly ,as for dogs im trying so hard to find missy a home its killing me i just cant do it with my lot ,thanks for your thoughts honey x
