It's always bitter at this time of year when you can see Turkey clearly with the snow on the mountains and the wind coming from that direction. Cuddle a hotwater bottle!

Yvonne,at 5pm it is 8 deg,it's a cold wind from Turkey, and you can see the snow on the mountains there, plus there is snow on the Troodos. So no snow is a bonus. Now Lapta Mike has a dog called Efes. Mike Lapta..I have a new kitten called Kiki. and a puppy called Hunni. I have posted on Facebook,if you are on there,I can email access to your email Mike

According to the weekend Cyprus Today: The wet weather is expected to peter out from Tuesday, but it will also become colder after the weekend, when daytime temperatures of up to 15-18C will fall to around 10-13C. Frost is possible in places between Tuesday and Thursday, after which it will start to become warmer again. They usually get it right, so roll on Friday... Mrs G.

Panchocat - have to agree, the mainland looked stunning when we were out walking the dynamic duo this evening. The outline was so clear and even the different shades of colours on the land itself with a wonderful dusky pink sky to set it all off - beautiful. Even the cold weather clouds have a silver (or pinkish) lining

| mikelapta: It's nice & sunny today, and our favourite Australian bard has a corker idea for an 'outdoor activity'! For the uninitiated, a 'ute' [ short for utility vehicle] is known as a 'double cab' in Cyprus - an 'Esky' is a portable/picnic ice box, 'Vegemite' is a superior product to UK 'Marmite', and a 'root'....you can work out for yourselves!
