| Prime Minister İrsen Küçük has said that economic indicators show that the austerity measures introduced by the government have a positive impact on the economy. He said that the government planned to close the budget deficit and balance the TRNC budget by 2012. Speaking on Bayrak Haber yesterday morning, the Premier said that no problems will be experienced in paying salaries this year and that 13th month bonus salaries was a right which will be continued. |

| The first paragraph seems as though it has been taken out of an old Gordon Brown speech. Be interesting so see whether this all pans out, and I would make further comments, but I dont want to be classed as negative, and reap the wrath of some board members. Michael |
