TRNC will be so flooded with Italian tourists this year that expatriots should be aware of this latest warning and take adequate precautions not to get trampled on in the rush!

How will the Italians get to TRNC? Are charter flights from Milan to Ercan planned? Or were they promoting Larnaca?

Thank you for that Bill, and I hope you're feeling better.

All positive news for TRNC tourism is a good thing and should be welcomed, but the usual muppets are there straight away to knock it. Who needs enemies when there are friends like this ?

HISS, wake up and smell the coffee, criticism is only voiced because some of us want to see improvement of the place, don't you?

Yes of course I do, but without tourists bringing in the money, filling the hotels, eating in the restaurants, where do you think it's going to come from, the government certainly don't have it.

Absolutely correct the infrastructure and status of TRNC is unfortunately very questionable. It is probably one of the most beauftiful islands in the world, have been to many, BUT too many government employees and con men on the make.

I have many TRNC friends and acquaintances who want one thing "honesty" from the system

RE msg 10, Quarmby: (...) HISS, wake up and smell the coffee, criticism is only voiced because some of us want to see improvement of the place, don't you? (...)

▶ Not personal, Quarmsby, but re: tourism: what else do most writers on this board do to enhance interest in this part of the island - other then criticise..?!
