Hello, I have a cast from a dislocated elbow which happened off the island and I need to know where to go in order to properly get it removed. Anyone can help?

As the general lack of health and safety protocols and poor driving means there is a constant stream of broken bones the local hospitals must be expert at cast removal... Go to Girne Hospital and it will probably be free... Can't see why you'd need a specialist, most people report excellent healthcare even though the state buildings may be past their best.

I was going to say try staging Hair in Iran and see how quickly the cast is taken off!

If you go to Girne Hospital in the morning, you can see an orthopaedic doc and they will remove the cast. I had one removed there and all it cost was 10TL for a couple of x-rays. Alternatively, go to Girne Private Hospital in the afternoon and see Dr Ali - ring them first on 0392-8155777 to make sure that he's there.
