Has anybody lost their Yorkshire Terrier. She is a young dog, very friendly and has obviously been well looked after. She was found in the Protas Village area in Girne. Please call Suzzane on 05338631950.

We would if we knew how! aand no we are not keeping her, we are just fostering her for the KAR until we can find her owner or a new good home

She is around a year old, steel and tan in colour. She is not a very small dog. We are fostering her for the KAR at the moment in case her owner comes forward. She has been well looked after cant believe some has dumped her. But after having 2 Yorkshire Terriers from the KAR over the last 4 years, one very close to death in a horrendous condition nothing would surprise me any more. Any re-homing will be done through the KAR,

Is this a case of someone going away and leaving the dog. Maybe it was an emergency. Just don't understand how someone could leave a dog out in the street at such an age unless they had a good reason. Such a shame that the owner has not turned up.



I am sure KAR will have no problems rehousing a Yorkie. I love them to madness, but if ever I replaced the ones I had it would be a teeny weeny one to fit in my pocket. Can't afford it!



I do hope someone claims this one you have found.

Just telling my husband about this dog, and he said that in the last 2 or 3 weeks he saw a notice in the Kibris (sister to Cyprus Today) paper for a lost Yorkshire Terrier. His sense of time is not the best, but might be worth contacting them to see if they have a record of it, with number etc.
