Whilst these riots go on what now will be the implications for Isreal. Whilst both have a cold friendship and "silent border", what will be the long term prospects.

I should think the Israelis are quite content seeing all decay around them! Don't forget...Israelis have been more than very capable of dealing with internal and external unrest for the last 60+ years!



The big worry is how Egypt and other ME countries are going to deal with internal strife in the coming months.

At least the Saddam Husseins and Murbaraks of this [ME] region curbed sectarian violence - Western democracy merely gives these people 'carte blanche' for anarchy.
