can anyone help me? i would like to watch eastenders/emmerdale on the tv. i have been told that you can watch these subscription free although they will be 2/3 weeks behind.i know there will be installation costs. can anyone tell me what system i need to watch these and what other free channels would be available as i have a young son who likes to watch cartoons also. somebody mentioned a super plus box for extra channels? not sure what this is. any help would be great.

i dont know if you have read previous posts on this subject, firstly you wont be able to watch emmerdale unless you subcribe to a package named showtime



now the equipment you need is 2 dishes one pointed at hotbird and the other at nilesat the box you need is a next ye2000 fta or cx or cis you can purchase this for around £200-250 including install you can buy this from a place techtan which are located in girne centre and im sure any of the posters who i have done this for will give you directions link to a few of the other posters

once they have installed the system thats where i come in i re-program the box thru the internet i send you the program thru either msn or skype and i will guide you thru the whole process, this serivce i provide has a fee but any monies or anything extra would you be so kind to email me and i will answer any more questions you want to know

and dont worry with this sytem you will be able to watch eastenders aswell as much more!!!

The best is digiturk they show all the soaps on channel 105, with plenty of cartoons aswell. its 120ytl for intilation and an extra 40 ytl a month for the channels .

is it really worth us taking a t.v over if we are not going to get a dish this time. will we be able to watch anything without it. t.v is the last on the list of things if we have to fork out that kind of money. we can take it next time if we are not going to be able to get anything english to watch.

young blitz sorry to say digiturk is not good at all channel 105 is bbc prime and the only good thing is eastenders all the rest of the programes are well old

the only other good channel is no2 comedy max

there are much better systems out there especially the system i say where there is no monthly bill and you get around 40-50 channels a mixture of english channels



ilmd if you are not getting a sat this time around then the t.v will be just sitting there because even the channels of a normal aerial are mostly all in turkish, but on the other hand this time or next time you still will have to bring the t.v over so you might aswell get it over and done with unless you cant really afford it

thanks ukturk. might leave it behind this time then. there are other things we can bring . i don't fancy watching turkish telly. sat has got to wait o may as well do both next time. cheers
