I would like to ask for coments on opening the above in the north.

The battleground would be very near Lefkosia.

Looks like a great idea. Paintball is a bit old hat.

RE msg 1: What an excellent idea! The island of Cyprus has been a battlefield for thousands of years - so why try to change it, eh? Here are some more ideas for locations. Rent St Hilarion Castle (make paintball also possible, because there are only old stones left in this ruin). Rent the Buffer Zone (plenty of live ammo available on both sides).

P.S. There must be something very wrong in your mind if you like to shoot at people for fun. Isn't it bad enough that so many young men have to shoot at each other for real in this world?

Great idea Andy!

Not everyone can go over the border to the south, if they can do it, why can't we do it in the north?!

Never tried it, but it looks FUN & would love to give it a go

The guns are infared and the only beam you can see is when you are looking throught the scope.

Message 3. i am afraid that i am not the only person that enjoys this sort of thing as it is a great success worldwide. I am trying to offer a service for individuals and corporate. 22 of us went to the south last saturday and a total mix of ages and sexes and everybody had a great time. Did you not have a toy gun when you where a boy???

RE msg 6, Mrwilson: (...) Did you not have a toy gun when you where a boy??? (...)

▶ Yes, I did. But when I had done my military service *I* grew up and never longed for a real or toy gun again.

I think this is a great idea, and I'm sure most would agree.

We need something like that in the North, driving to the south is a pain.

Really hope this goes ahead !

Really enjoyed it over the South, but it's such a long drive, to have it over here would be bloody brilliant. Good luck with it all Andy.

Re message 3.

It's a bit of fun. Obviously this type of thing is not of interest to you so why even bother wasting your time and comment in the first place. It's not real, it's a bit of fun! Loosen up Dutch.

Like i said before, I think it's a great idea. I know a lot of people who would love it also.

▶ Before teaching me lessons you'd better start to learn reading.

This is from message 1 (I commented as requested): (...) I would like to ask for coments on opening the above in the north. (...)

Dutch

Do you approve of people shooting at each other for fun if it is in a local historical context? Would you like to organise full period costume re-enactments from Cyprus history?

Perhaps you would like to also ban go-karting as it promotes speeding amongst young drivers?
