Anyone seen rapeseed or groundnut oil. Sugar free peanut butter. Low fat yogurt?

If the products are in Turkish what would they be called?

You can buy "light" plain yoghurt. Tends to be in pink tubs.

We have only found groundnut oil and sugar free peanut butter in the South - Carrefour. If you find any in the North, please post here.

Unfortunately the really, really tasty low fat yoghurt and zero calories (almost) can be found only in the south. As a great supporeter of the North, I really hate myself for shopping in the south, so just wish someone would copy the recipe here. I am sure it will sell. The low fat here is, to me, tasteless and not creamy or solid enough!

Guess some of us are never satisfied.

Yes,

Starling and Lemar sell in 4 packs, small pots of various fruit combinations no fat yoghurt, called Pascual, really nice with actuall fruit in, not just flavouring.

You can buy low fat yoghurt here though it seems to vanish quite quickly off the supermarket shelves as there never seems to be enough of it. It does say low fat on the Supermis yoghurt.

As Maz (msg 5) says, there is low fat yoghurts in the south and also 0% fat free yoghurt, if the local supermarkets stocked the fat free over here I certainly would buy it!

I can't help you with the peanut butter but I do buy the Calve brand which I have seen in some supermarkets and the fish shop called Hurdeniz, it is also available in Carrefour in the south. It has a higher content of peanuts and is a more natural product and better for you than the sunpat, etc varieties which have more added chemicals in.

According to the ingredient list on Calve there is no added sugar and it is quite a bit cheaper than the one in Carrefour that advertises itself as Sugar free. Good to know that you can get it in Hurdeniz, will check it out.

The Calve peanut butter is lovely and much better than Sunpat which I find very cloying. Haven't seen it around for a while so if anyone spots it please let me know.

I think many of these imported goods disappear quickly. I have certainly found it so with certain frozen products I buy, and dog biscuits. The boat comes in, the merchandise hits the shelves, the desperate stock up and then we have to wait for the next boat. Maybe Calve peanut butter is part of this importation process too.
