I have been staying at the Hotel Sempati whilst setting up my apartment.

I would definately recommend them. They gave me what I believe to be a great price which included breakfast, hire car and taxi to Larnaca airport. The Turkish staff are so incredibly friendly and if you like cats, they have two fantastic little moggies.

Hi

We also stayed at the Sempati.

Was a bit dissapointed with the rooms, although clean could do with a freshning up,I found the bathroom very dark.

Ercan and the hotel staff were very friendly and yes its good value for money.

We stayed at the Hotel Sempati the last time we came to Cyprus we found both Ercan and the rest of the staff very helpful and friendly, was very happy with our room was very comfortable and clean meals very nice thought the bar was a little boring and wouldn't recommend it for people that find it difficult climbing stairs as there is no lift. As for the cats love them but didn't have the pleaseure of meeting any at the Sempati only a very pleasant little dog.

Hi Erkan .... and the rest of the Forum

Hotel Sempati, was our second home whilst we had our villa built .... Its warm friendly and truly a fantastic place to be in. It may not be 5* but Erkan and his team make up for it.

Erkan is a truly fantastic, charming, adorable man ...xx

Dear Littlenige;

This is normal price for 3 star hotel.

They can not sell it, same as restaurants or other street buffets.

We have enjoyed a short stay there and found the staff very friendly.

Going back again in April while we set up our villa.

Shame we are only there a short time. 10 out of 10

Highly recommended

P.S downside if there is one - drinks not cheap but then it is a hotel.

Erkan

Maybe if you could bring your drinks and food prices down a little you may get more customers......if thats what you want of course.

Sempati - first place I ever stayed here.

Booked on the net by email.

They confirmed by booking/price (10 days) by email.

Turned up, no-one had a clue I was comming, but there was an empty room.

2 days later, told may not have a room for me anymore, following day, went to hotel early afternoon to find I had to leave.

Ercan booked me into his sisters hotel, and they wanted to charge me more, told them he would pick up the difference which he did for the one night I stayed. He also offered me a free dinner that night which I declined.

While there (Sempati), 2 English people turned up from Paphos with confirmed booking through an agent for them and their friends, again hotel had no knowledge of them comming.

Stayed at the Nostalgia in the end in the middel of town, first class place.

Never been to Sempati since and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, even though Ercan did help me out of the situation that shouldn't have arisen in the first place.

Might have been an isolated case, but it happening to others while I was there told me all I needed to know.
