| I have a question to put to the forum, I have been told that where you have a regularly watered lawn ( as we hav a few on our complex) you can have a problem with mosquito's, is it in fact true that this can be the case and that the lawn grass should be treated with a repellent, This is not meant to be a controversial posting and I would like it if it was not treated as such. Thanks |

| Very true in fact. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in any water, even tiny drops, and prefer damp areas in which to live (eg swamps). Also, apart from the females biting us for blood to gestate their eggs, mosquitoes' normal diet is sap from soft green plants - their favourite being grass. |
