Does anyone know of anywhere that would be interested in giving me some experience teaching??? I ve just completed the full 120 hour tefl and want to teach.....anyone know of any vacancies anywhere???

You may need to go down the road I had to in the UK and do some voluntary teaching to get the experience you need. It's a bummer but you do need the experience as well as the qualifications in most cases. Talking from experience here although I don't teach here now.



I did see though that there is a college opening up in Lefkosa and maybe they will have a need as they are teaching English. Have you tried all the English schools as well as I know they need experienced teachers and I think that the English School of Kyrenia has a lot of older children that need help with their English.

thanks for all the advice. Zoo ive tried dave s cafe but it doesnt seem to feature much about cyprus.

I m live in paphos but am willing to move when i return in April.

Why not try places like the Foundation School at Girne Americaqn University. Look up their web page. They often take graduates (do you have a degree?) and use them, but probably no vavcancies until october.
