Martina Cole's new BEST SELLER BOOK STORE, (next to Karakum Lemar), opens tomorrow at Metform Plaza. We already have several thousand books in stock and are currently waiting for a consignment of 700 books of the latest published titles to arrive this week from the UK. All books in stock are for sale for less than the published price. Once the new stock arrives it will include:

Biographies, travel, gardening/cooking, children's, DIY, self help, North Cyprus related books and many more non-fiction titles in addition to a wide variety of newly published paperback fiction titles.

We also already have a large stock of greetings cards, gift bags and 2011 diaries. All welcome to look around! Open 10am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, open all day.

RE msg 2, suehowlittlle: Bookshops never hurt each other - ignorant people hurt bookshops. I wish the Best Seller Book Store the best of luck.

P.S. Best Seller Book Store (hint!): can I subscribe to your mailing list and get informed via email about new titles regularly?

Went to opening and did put a thread on here, great prices and as I said before no longer have to queue at Smith in Heathrow Airport and drag books back here. A great assortment of books for every taste. Well done to Martina and her staff.

Just a thought... in england they do a book shop club for children ie for christmas i cant remember the company name though, might be good to look into. Also to offer a kids club to encourage childrent o come and either buy or hire books out? they get a card and for every book they get the receive a stamp.. so many stamps gets spmething?

Thanks for suggestion of book club for children and will look into that. We're already planning to partner English School of Kyrenia on World Book Day, (March 3rd), to encourage more children to read and also intend to expand the children's section. All suggestions are very welcome.

swyflot, a Kindle costs over £100 and you can't download Time Out: Film Guide 2011, for example. Mind you it's £8 cheaper on Amazon but would take a big chunk out of your luggage allowance bringing it back.
