| I have been very disturbed by the number of recent poisonings - as i am sure many of you have. This got me to thinking about what is done re poisonings. I know KAR try and put incidents on their web site and individuals sometimes report it to the Police. Just an idea but how about ; If i - or anyone else- can get the name of an important Policeman in Girne or a quite important Policeman !! who should/would deal with poison incidents if they came his way. If there was an Incident form (downloadable) that could be completed by anyone whenever there was a poisoning or suspected posioning. If all individuals completed the form when they knew/heard of a poisoning and sent it to the named Policeman - would it achieve anything ? At the moment the whole reporting to the authorities is somewhat randomn and who deals (or not) with the incidents is pot luck - maybe this way it will create responsibility (named Policeman) and accountability for action/inaction in the TRNC Authority !!!!!! |
