For all you smokers out there a "big" clamp down last night from Alsancak to Karsiyaka and as I understand one bar owner and smokers where given heavy fines in Alsancak for smoking in enclosed areas and most of the bars got a visit, just for your info

This week and over last weekend I've been told by owners and managers that some bars/restaurants that have little or no customers including Kebap House's (mostly in Girne) have NOT been visited or possibly overlooked?Hmmm!

I do wonder why?

In answer to which bars were visited they were from the golden lady in Alsancak to Karsiyaka square

it appears at random

all just on/off the main road,

the bar that was fined is 150m off the main road so I wonder why they visited them?

maybe someone has complained about them

it is a bar serving food not a restaurant only
