Best bet is to go to Nicosia with a mechanic for a morning or test drive a car and then take it to a garage for an inspection, or buy off someone that is returning to the uk. Make sure the log book is in the name of whoever you purchase off and that there is no finance on the vehicle which will be written in the log book in this instance. What type of car and price range are you looking for as I have a young couple returning to the uk on the 18th Sept and will need to sell there 2003 model car which I believe cost them around the £5000 mark. Also know of a diesel pejaro exceed 7 seater jeep for sale at £2500 which is older but not in bad condition, also owned by an expat.

I think the car is a small Toyota which was purchased 3 months ago, but I will post the details later. Both vehicles are on trnc plates.

Hi rosieposie, my car is a renault scenic RX4. If you look on the car forum you will see all the details there. It is selling at a reduced price of £7,000. I would be happy to email you a photo. It's a really lovely car and it is deisel and we get 36/38 to the gallon. Lots and lots of extras.
