| Ford are taking legal action against Ferrari for using the F150 name for its new Formula 1 car. Ford, which has been using the designation on its most popular truck since 1975, has accused the Italian company of trademark infringement and cybersquatting for setting up the http://www.ferrariF150.com website. In response, Ferrari have sent a letter of reply to Ford saying the full name of their F1 car is the F150th Italia - not F150. The Italian team also stressed the name will never be used for a commercially available product. BBC Question is... who would mistake a Ferrari F150th for a Ford F150 and do they not think the comparison would benefit Ford? I mean if it were the other way round you could see Ferrari having a case.. As it is, it's hardly unflattering is it? My 'Reliant Robin 911 Carrera Turbo' now that's a piece of filth! |
