Tennis Courts near Girne?

I've got some friends staying near Girne in June who have asked if there are any tennis courts in the area - will bring own equipment and happy to pay (for example hotel courts) but an idea on hire costs would be useful.

Just by the main island for girne/Lefkosha, head down towards Girne only a few metres down on the left or try the Ship Inn just heading to karalanoglu

The chap to ring to book a tennis court (or even find out how much the charges are) is Hilmi tel: 0533 849 8336. He's the chap in charge.



These are the Belediye courts near the main roundabout for Lefkosa/Girne

There is also tennis courts at the G.A.U. just along from the ship inn.

Hi, there is also a court at Midsummer House Restaurant. It is open for people to play between 8am -7pm, it costs 10 lira an hour. If they are interested they can give me a call Sarah 0533 849 2743. They need to book before they play. It is probably the cheapest best quality court around, fantastic views as well, although of course they will be concentrating on the ball!! If anyone else is interested in playing or joining for the year 100tl give me a call.
