I have now purchased a vegetable juicer so am looking for some wonderful vegetable juice recipes to get me started, as yet I have only washed the machine in anticipation of using it!

Can you help me get started, I am predominantly looking for vegetable based juices rather than fruit ones to get my intake of veggies up to 3-5 a day.

What are you favourite vegetable juices?

Thank you.

I use this one which makes a passable V8 juice, you need to adjust the amounts depending what is in season and how ripe and juicy things are.

3 or 4 large tomatoes

3 stalks celery

5 carrots

1 small beet (look like huge radishes here)

1/4 head fresh cabbage

1-2 bell pepper (red or green)

2 cups spinach

2-3 other vegetable leaves (depends what's available)

1/4 sweet onion

I have tried to email you on the email address in your profile but it keeps coming back to me as undelivered.

I wanted to take you up on your offer of a couple of recipes, before I ordered the book.

Could you possibly email me on the following current address: jmc_smc@yahoo.co.uk

Er, both? Is there one that does both? I think that it would mainly be vegetables.

The centrifugal ones are good for hard fruit and veg but not very good for citrus, try as said above Techmar, Arcelik or Argos Rus in Karakum.
