Special aides of the two leaders in Cyprus continued discussions aimed at reaching further convergences on the core issues of the Cyprus negotiations. Kudret Özersay and Yorgo Yakovou took up the EU Matters, Economy and Governance and Power-Sharing today.



Special representatives discussed possible convergences over the issues of EU Matters, Economy and Governance and Power-Sharing today.



Özersay and Yakovou will meet again on Monday and Wednesday to continue discussions on Governance and Power-Sharing.

During yesterday’s meeting between President Derviş Eroğlu and the Greek Cypriot Leader Dimitris Christofias, the representatives were given the duty to consider Governance and Power-Sharing next week so that the issue can be included in the leaders meeting next week.



The leaders, who yesterday confirmed the progress achieved by their aides regarding EU Matters and Economy, will hold their next meeting on Friday the 25th of February.
