| Scootex,Have you thought this through enough. If the vehicles are u/k spec will the cooling systems cope in the heat here.We dropped a big clanger sending a Range Rover to Australia.Fan blades, water pump radiator all had to be changed. |

| Hi Scootex Turkish & TRNC customs are hot on most things.I saw a car dealer with a car trailer towed behind a single car transporter and a new car driven separately so they had 3 cars all brand new and enough paperwork to start a recycling centre. I was delayed fo 24 hours and they were there for at least 6 hours and they had one man who could speak Turkish! If you are bringing a vehicle through proof of ownership would seem to be the most important thing. This means v5 in your name as the easiest solution.Otherwise v5 © of passport and covering letter from owner which would have to be in Turkish as well as English.I think it would be difficult if you don't own them especially if the contents belong to other people as well. I would like to know how you got on after the event. The slightest thing not right in a 'normal single delivery' by owner driver can cause delays that can run into days. You have to conform to their rules and they will keep you waiting 4ever Good luck Nick |
