What restaurant serves a really good steak ?

We have a family member who really likes a good steak when eating out. Any recommendations out there ? he is also picky about the trimmings. Any suggestions for restaurants ?

Never had a bad steak at Stevies in Kucuk Erenkoy, depends where you are based of course but if east then this is the place I would recommend.

Erol's in Ozankoy did great steak. It has just changed ownership so am hoping that the same chef is still there.

Don't think there is any where in NC who really serves up a decent steak, have had a few in the past in NC, but now just stick to lamb or chicken.....



Think some get the steak from the South, this I believe is either NZ or Brazilian beef..... Some sold as Angus x but this is debatable as Angus meat/steak looks totally different than the steaks that are sold as this .....

Guido's do a fabulous steak, but always check before re availability.



Veni Vici also do a really good steak in our experience

Definitely Erols every time. Went last week, yes under new ownership, but same staff......and still do the best medium rare fillet steak I have had over here. Go there every time we want good meat. Always the best.

five fingers restuant in Ozankoy do a very good stake with all the trimmings ,not posh but for 20tl

a bargain stake mushrooms,onion rings, toms,salad fresh home made chips on a big plate proper mans meal that why the wife likes it.

I have been to the Steakhouse (opposite Karakum Lemar) owned by Kibet butchers twice and both times both me and the hubby had fabulous fillet steaks (medium) at 22tl each. They also give you a nice salad and last time we had potato wedges, they were so nice we asked for more.



The only down side is if you want an alcoholic drink with your meal, they are not licensed, but it doesn't bother us as it actually makes for a cheap night out for a change as it is the booze that puts the prices up when going out.

msg 12: agree about the steaks, best I've had here but "the trimmings" left a lot to be desired. Served up on a chopping block, great for cutting the steak. Got a few oven chips, cauli and carrots. Salad starter served in big tin bowls, reminded me of a dog bowl. Steaks are great value but I don't expect to go again.

Pipie take the right turn at erdener supermarket to Ozankoy follow road till you reach the mosque

park up, on your right will be the bookshop take road at side of bshop 20yds on right is five fingers

also does a mean skeake pie hope this helps.

I've had many steaks over the years in both the North and South. By far the best on the island was a pepper steak at 'Silver Rocks' last summer.



Can't wait to feast there again this summer.

well I have tried many steaks in North Cyprus but none ever touched the fillet steaks served at Stonehouse I think its called, there are however many restuarants who spoil the steaks by cooking too quickly a few have been mentioned on here as recommendations so I guess it can vary depending on the quality of the steak and who is cooking it. Anyway its the Stonehouse for me..otherwise I dont eat steak

Look no further than "Cousins Hidden Garden". Best steak I've had anywhere in the world !!!



It's just a shame it is so far away from Tatlisu, but well worth the effort.

Kibet steak is delicious and reasonable, try the burgers there also very tasty..



Cafe de Paris steak at the rocks hotel is also delicious and the pepper steak at house
