The problem with these non-legit traders is they WILL be closed down and then where will the customers be??Anyone can do "cheap" if they do not have tax,social insurance & provident fund to pay.Thats NOT being bitchy-it's a fact.The Government do not make these rules for some and not others.

The best way to be sure a company is legal is to look for their ad's in the paper-the TAX MAN actually reads them and checks up on them!

At the end of the day it's up to the individal where they purchase from and they pay in the long run -one way or another.

I can recommend Mr FLY,PIMAPEN & TASKOPRU-all legal & professional(did I spell that correctly??)

No harm in fair competition-fair being the operative word.

I STILL would like to have an answer on the "new" company's registered trading name and registered

trading number-it helps if you wish to consult the office of fair trading if a dispute arises---get my drift now???

Hi gmc .MANY of the Brits & Europeans have been duped by locals who see us as millionaires as we step off the plane.We have also been duped by our own who have made a fast buck then disappeared onto the sunset never to be seen again as their work (or word) falls to pieces.

The new Mr FLY is NOTHING like the old one.....no "slam bang thank you ma'am".We too have been to his bodged jobs!!!!!!!!Having said that, we have also done repairs on other big company's screens,but they have been local manufacturers and not to the standard or expectations required by ex pats.

The answer you gave to" half full" I agree with-here it seems the 4 currencies are used daily.Mr FLY quotes in sterling but is quite happy to quote the days rate in any other currency.

I am in a rented villa and do not want to pay for flyscreens on a property which i will be leaving in a year or two, therefore would either of you supply just the meshing for me to cover the master bedroom windows only.



I know its not ideal but it is the cheapest way I can think of to keep out the hungry biters in the summer.

A dutch company makes velcro fly screens which work sold in most caravan/motorhome shops in uk



I think it is called Guard and care



You fit the velcro around the window and then put up the mesh also removeabe



And the mesh is very fine

You cut it to size yourself
