Problems regarding the establishment contract of the new TRNC national carrier- North Cyprus Airlines have been resolved during the Minister of Public Works and Communication Ersan Saner’s contacts in Ankara. Saner met with Turkish Minister of Transport Binali Yıldırım in Turkey’s capital.



Evaluating his contacts on Bayrak Haber yesterday, Saner said that all necessary legal arrangements for the new carrier have been finalized with contributions by the Turkish Minister Yıldırım and that the goal is to launch flights of the North Cyprus Airlines by the end of March

The TRNC Minister also informed that the construction of a new landing strip at the Ercan Airport is on the agenda.

Commenting on the issue separately, Turkey’s Transport Minister Yıldırım said that agreement was reached with Mr. Saner to restructure Ercan Airport in line with the increase in its passenger capacity.

Meanwhile, according to the information provided by Minister Saner, problems with the communication services of the TRNC will also be resolved by June, in line with a joint decision taken with Binali Yıldırım.
