Great idea, also includes a meal? If I choose my meal, do I only get to have a few mouthfulls before moving on to the next guys dinner? Are we allowed to take our own knives and forkes with us when we move on to the next table?

Msg.1: Nothing wrong with the idea IMHO - apart from the "includes meal" bit needing a tiny bit more information.

Now then, I have never been on one of these (it was love at first sight with my wife....) but I can't see how the meal time cannot be a little awkward. If it is before the "table hopping" session then you have to avoid the ones you think are "saddo" and if it is after then you wouldn't want to be chased by the "saddos"



Only jesting - please tell us a bit more about the format. I wonder what TCs think of the idea.

We seem to have more women than men interested. We need even numbers so men don't be shy, you could meet new friends or a potential partner.



Don't forget that you will have time to mingle and talk as a group, either when we take a break, or at the end of the evening. So even if you just click with someone enough that you have a new friend to go out with sometimes, at least you will have gained something from the evening.

We would like to thank everyone that took part in Speed Dating last night.



Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Unfortunately a few of the daters didnt hand their sheet in at the end of the evening so there could be some possible matches out there that we are not aware of. However, there were a few obvious 'matches' already by the end of the evening!!!!!



I was disappointed to hear though that one lady said to one of the men that he was too young. He then gave up and didn't carry on with the rest of the evening. He had actually come along to seriously look for new friends or a potential partner. We didnt put an age limit, apart from over 21's, as we didnt know what kind of interest we were going to get. He could of said that some of them were too old, but he didn't. For whatever reason you didn't want to take it further ie too young, not your type, all you had to do was circle 'no' on the form.



Apart from that the evening was a success and we will contact the 'matches' on Monday

Great evening, met some lovely people. My only complaint was the condom machine in the mens toilets ran out, could you please make sure it is fully stocked for your next speed dating evening, the cheese and pickle flavoured condoms were the first to go so clearly a favourite with the women.
