Can someone please give me an idea of the cost of a taxi & any recommendations to a firm please - who will collect from Larnaca and take to Kyrenia

We have been using Sevener (alsancak) for over 4 years. He has never let us down and has a people carrier which he sends when all our grandkids come to stay.



He charges £50 but is worth every penny.



Hope he will always be available.

Normal price is £50 each way to Girne / Alsancak / Lapta/ etc. through legitimate local taxi firms. Some Brits undercut by £5 each way ! ( No comment ! )

Do check that your taxi driver has passenger insurance cover. If you have an accident, which could happen. Does the driver have cover for your medical expenses cover, which could be several thousands of pounds or even death. If it is not a licensed taxi, there will probably be no cover on the north side and it will only be third party only on the south side. Do not take the risks.

i know "dixie normous" does taxi runs - think the charges 35 gbp each way to larnaca - also just got some cheap tellies he's brought over from over the south with 1 yr guarantee............
