Advice needed on dog beating

Last night a Turkish lady turned up on my doorstep in tears (she is one of the tenants living in the shack accomodation behind the Dunya Restaurant in Karaoglanoglu). She said the dogs she had been feeding and looking after were being beaten and kicked by Hassan the restaurant owner. There are 3, all street dogs, but very loving and friendly. 2 very small Cyprus Terrier cross and one tan coloured bigger with a tag in her ear.

Now I thought Hassan had been feeding them, but apparently not.



I have phoned KAR, both last night and this morning, and left messages. Couldn't get to speak to a person.



Now what do I do ?????

In the summer, they were feeding the tan one, and he got upset when I got Kar to get her done. I don't understand whats happened since then.

What a dreadful situation.I hope dandd can get through to him. I found in these situations the owners do not like being confronted and recact a lot worse towards the poor dogs. TRy KAR again monday I think x

Lilli he is not the owner they are street dogs maybe he just wants them moved on can some one remove them from his area so he wont be able to beat them maybe drop them off to the cull office.

Have just come in......and actually witnessed him raising a stick to them although I didn't see him touch them. They just turned up a few months back now and I guess hes had enough. But where else can they go.



Am gonna speak to him now, but if you can, please will you speak as well.

Having just spoken to Hassan, hes just fed up with the 3 dogs, as they set his 2 dogs off at night and bark at everything all night. So basically he wants Kar to take them away. At the same time another guy called Hassan came into the conversation (I think). Slight breakdown in communication, maybe.

I will try KAR again on Monday. They are just not wanted. Its such a shame.

But the good news is, the Turkish lady is gonna keep the dogs, all 3 of them. It seems her husband (called Hassan), was beating them, and last night he beat her as well !!! Now shes got rid of him and is keeping the dogs !!!!



But of course this doesn't solve the other Hassans (Restaurant owner), problem......of noisy dogs upsetting his dogs .

Sorry to bring this up again........



but it is Hassan (the restaurant owner), doing the beating. The lady who was going to keep them, works everyday from 9am-9pm, and when she gets home.......she doesn't know what shes gonna find. One of the Cyprus Terriers is sick and needs to see a vet. She doesn't have the money to take him, but is doing the best she can.



I will contact KAR in the morning, again. If they can't do anything, what can I do to help ???? Take them somewhere else, but where ????

Also Hassan asked me to contact KAR to get his blind Cyprus Terrier put down (even though theres nothing else wrong with her). KAR have refused to help, and I don't blame them.
