Indeed. The recent rants on state TV made me think he is clinically insane..but in the calmer interview with Jeremy Bowen on the BBC yesterday he came across as someone who knows what he is doing. He may be a psychopath of the most dangerous kind and deluded with it. All the years of total power have corrupted him completely and corrupted his mind..many years ago probably. He may well use mustard gas on his own people..he would convince himself this was OK as he would be taking out an enemy tribe backed by a combination of Al Quaida and the US...

Gadaffi is the best thing on the tele at the moment, apparently there are no protests as such, someone has spiked everyone's milk and coffee with halucinogenic pills, which explains the unrest...



Reminds me of comical Ali during the start of the second gulf war. "we are in control" as the city burns behind him..

He is so bonkers you can see the lies running across his eyes as he makes up wild accusations on the hoof. Declarations that everybody loves him and everybody who does not is on drugs supplied by Al Qaeda...

The dipping in and out of English is another sign of his mental instability... he speaks good English but while he's needing time to make-up his next wacky response he feigns not to understand. You can see his brain cogs grinding trying to wiggle this way and that and when he's finally caught in the lie... he comes up with the wildest of all accusations.
