| I am going over to choose my kitchen and tiles within these dates, Ive been told that alot of the shops are closed. Does anyone have any information on what will be open. ie. resturants in the harbour area? I was also told the banks and lawyers etc will be shut. Any info please. Ps The goverment only declared it last week i think!?? |

| This is the end of Ramazan and banks and government offices will be closed as usual - 30/9, 1-2/10. This will probably include solicitors but check with own. It will be unusual for any shops and restaurants to be closed, although a few may shut for the odd day.. |

| We have been given a 9-day Bayram this year, 27/28 weekend, the whole week 29-3 and then 4/5 weekend but the banks will be open till 12 on Monday and open on Friday. |

| Private schools will be closed all week. The State schools will be closed from Monday to Thursday. |
