How to find out how much my car is worth,and how best to sell it

I am wanting to sell my Grand Cherokee Jeep,its a 3L,Black,top of range year 06.Could anyone give me advice on how to find out how much it is worth,i went to a garage and asked them but they were not very helpful.Also is it best to advertise not only on this forum but in local papers too.The car is in very good condition,import tax been paid,fab to drive,but as goung back to uk i need to sell.

Try and get a UK value then add on 50% - that's what you're likely to get.

Google Parker's guide, this will give you an idea of how much your car is worth (in the uk)taking into account it's year, mileage, condition etc......

The official way of doing things is to



step 1 see the UK value,

step 2 add on 30%...

step 3 if you speak fluent Turkish and can find a Brit buyer add another 30% t its value

Step 4 if selling to a local in your best english accent take away 75%
