| This Sunday afternoon we, my wife and I, were having a drink in this fine, almost hidden place : "Sardünya Bay" (btw it means "Geranium Bay"). Talking to the British couple C. and K., about food in the UK and in Holland, we agreed that we should try each other's 'specialties'. Which we shall do shortly!
Would there be other Britishers interested in a (big word for a small but nice idea) "Anglo/Dutch Dinner Society"...? |

| RE msg 5, Clarissa2:  Ik houd meer van zoute haring (rauw, zo uit zee en naar de haringkraam...). Ik heb er nog vijf in de freezer en drie in de koelkast - ze werden ingevroren meegebracht door een Nederlandse gaste! |

| I prefer my salt herring boiled in the same pot with potatoes in the skin. Eaten by hand from a table covered in a plastic table cloth. (No Plates!) |
