Have you tried the car spares shop set back off the main road just before what used to be Friends Hotel in Alsancak. They do stock some M/C batteries, you will need to know the model type, it will be something like 6N4 or similar. If your moped/scooter is a common make it may be listed on the Yuasa site. http://www.yuasabatteries.com/index.html Failing that try the motorcycle shop in Girne, habour side of the Belediyesi Square.

Thanks Mike will try the car spares place tomorrow, found the battery on the Yuasa site, its a Honda so should be easy to locate one.
