Msg 1. With respect Anadolu jet are only looking UK-Turkey-UK. Nice flight times 3 pm departure UK? How long is the wait @ ESB/HTY. If your visiting for 7 days then your holiday will only be 5 days at the max. If you book within a month Pegasus are cheaper and offer the best flight times from STN-ECN

Best prices are with Pegasus, providing you book early. Our flights for next June came in at around the £150.00 mark (just under that, I think), but, as I said, you have to book very early. Good flight times and no change of aircraft.

Anadolu are Turkish Airlines low cost arm and have taken over quite a lot of THY routes. At Ankara you will stay in the International transfer area so will not need a visa.

MSG16 They did not cancel any flights they just rerouted the planes to land at Ankara instead of Istanbul, we had this on our June flight flight time departure changed only by a couple of hours

I've had too many bad experiences with Anadolu and that was when they flew to Ercan without a change in Turkey. Flight time changes seem to be the norm with this airline and the 30KG weight allowance seems to be too good to be true(are you sure thats not for 2 passengers)... Just checked their website and it clearly states its 15KG+8KG for cabin. It is true that you get what you pay for in this world.... but unfortunately, you get alot more with this airline... a lot of hanging around at airports! I'll stick to my direct, non-stop flights to the South. I booked in January with BA and got return flights for £198.00 for June with 23Kg + 56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in) with no limit providing you can lift it in to the overhead lockers. and for just £28 you can check in a second case weighing up to 23KG too!

MSG 20 i argee with you, your deal with BA is excellent, handy to know for £28 you can take a second bag did not know that. We have flew in Ercan and Larnaca in the past but you still have the cost of the transfers, when choosing Larnaca. Never used Anadolu will report back what they are like. My car hire company pick me up free of charge at Ercan http://www.abantrentacar.com Checked my baggage and it clearly say this below next to each person name, again will report back after my trip in June. TK7339 Free Baggage Allowance : 30 Kg
