I deserve that and I should rephrase, which bank is probably the cheapest bank for transferring back to UK banks.

The cheapest way to do it is online, if you're comfortable with that. You also don't have to drive around and then wait in line at a bank. There's a pretty good guide on this site:

I transferred 200 pounds today and I was charged 40tl for the privilege, not sure if it would have been the same for a larger amount. That was Turkbank.

It use to be £10,000 per day but I think it is now £5,000 per day.
