| Advise please...... we are loading the container for shippment to the TRNC and know that we need to remove all packaging for the new electrical items and make them look used, however we are also shipping a number of new flat packed items such as bedside cabinets, beds etc. Do we need to unpack all these and items like curtains bed linen etc before they go into the container? Just trying to avoid import duty wherever possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Sue and Dave |

| I would suggest that when deciding to start a new life in a new country one would adhere to the laws and regulations of your new hosts, customs and excise revenue tax is in place not as a punishment to the payee but as an important and much needed revenue for a country where economic embargoes are in place. To start your new life on the right foot I would smile at the nice man in customs and pay your dues. clean advice for a cleaner North cyprus |
