This forum is all too good at telling what is "Bad" about restaurants. This is a message about GOOD. We went to The Lodge last night and had a meal- the food was excellent, loads of it and well presented. Nothing was too much trouble and reasonably priced.

They have sirloin steaks with various sauces and a choice of either veg, saute potatoes, salad or chips. Steak were really tender and succulent.

Lamb chops with crushed potatoes- this is potaoes finely chopped with onions, tomatoes and olives.

Starters are huge.

Really good choices on menu

I second your post went to The Lodge last night and had one of the best meals that weve had on the island garlic king prawns were to die for and the chicken live rpate was perfect .

All ready booked for ST Patrics day will be a good night well done lodge and thank you

We go every Sunday now when the weather holds as the children can play outside and we actually get to relax and eat a meal!! Food excellent and great value.

plus who needs an entertainer, last night two birthday parties and good dance music through their sound system. Great to hear the music sung by the proffesionals and see so many up dancing.

Where do i find this place. We will be staying in the harbour area for a few days next week, and making a list of good eating house's.

WE go most sundays providing the weather is good, kids love playing outdoors and to be honest they offer good food reasonable prices and the only place i know that has kids area like that outdoors. Anywhere else for kids areas outdoors that you can recommend ??

busy bee its only a small country place at Bahceli called Sea breeze but the food is excelent and there is a small play area as well for the kids and prices very reasonable and a view thats simply the best but have to agree the lodge does a great steak
