| Hi all,I know this has been asked before but I am hoping to bring my Astra over in May and I would like to know firstly if it meets the criteria and secondly what taxes will I approx have to pay?
Vauxhall Astra 1600 1st reg. March 2007,we bought when 6 months old.

| hı up to fıve years old are ok.ıf you haveroad tax one year from uk you can than drıve here one year not payıng nothıng only insurance .after one year you have to pay ı thınk 40 percent of value the car.ı hope i explaınd ok good luck. |

| Hi. I know you can drive with UK road tax for up to one year but can you also use a UK driving licence for that time or do you require a TRNC licence? |

| you need a TRNC licence if you stay over 90 days
Your car can be here on 12 months UK tax you can come and go under 90 days no TRNC licence stay over 90 days at one time licence and temperay residency requirement |

| HI We brought a 2007(Sept)11 month old Astra over in Oct 2008 and it cost us £4000 in import duties + registration fee about 600 tl + number plates 25tl + road tax
yours should be a lot less because of depreciation on its book value,our road tax is just over 300 tl.
Also if you are married or with a partner have the log book put in both your names. |

the 90 days means continuous on island (roc & TRNC)for driving licence |
