I put a post on yesterday looking for information re paying speeding fines. you are eager to see if anyone can help, therefore are constantly checking for updates. There is nothing worse than seeing you have an update to find it is someone with a snide or unhelpfull comment. If people can not add to the post in a helpfull manner then they should leave alone. It only leads to anger and frustration on the part of the person concerned.



If you agree with this post, please comment to let the administrators be aware of the strength of the forum against these people. Post and keep it to the top.

I very much agree - to be honest, I rarely post questions for that very reason... I accept that it's a public forum and people are exercising their right to freedom of speech - BUT... it does put people off using the forum. I know of a lot of people who no longer use it at all, for that reason exactly.



A real shame for something which can be a mine of information and a spectacular resource when used effectively.

I agree as well in general but I have to say having looked at the thread in question it is not at all full of sarky comments. Your original question was answered on the first post and the supplementary point attracted some speculation and comment on the systems in TRNC.



There is of course a possibility that one of my colleagues removed the worst posts already.

Dumyat, people just do not respond correctly, I started a post asking when Esentepe Apricot Festival dates are?. 11 people looked before the first response, why look if no one had responded unless you new the answer. Now 123 have looked but still not got dates but must admit I do need to look onto Glencoe site to see if they have the dates. Reason for asking was to see when it was on for when I have visitors out so I could take them to it.

I've said, for ages, that Cooper should have a life-time ban. He is nothing but a troublemaker, a stirrer and an all round cad! I do not find his posts amusing in the least. He pokes his nose in on 44 where it is obviously not wanted, time and time again.



He's not funny (although, sadly, he thinks he is). And, he's not big (although, to be honest, he might be; I have never met him). Anyway, I find him very offensive, in many ways and in particular, his dreadul "jokes".



So, if the mods could please see their way clear to ridding 44 of this odious character, I, for one, would be a very happy bunny!
