| Kyrenia shopping fest will take place on saturday at Mete Adanir Avenue. All shops, good discounts on all items, toys for kids, live music, entertaintment, sweet corns etc. Road will be close for traffic from 09,00 till 19,00. Un believable discounts at Akay Optic. First time in Kyrenia North Cyprus. |

| Thanks for posting tha ton here. I heard today from Emel at Cafe Dukkan that it was happening. I guess it may be in the Turkish Press but otherwise we English speakers haven't heard of it. It sounds as if it will be a great day, but a shame that it is also The Tepebasi Tulip Festival. Still, plenty of time to go to Tepebasi and then dash back to Kyrenia to spend, spend, spend! Hmmm - maybe I should get a new pair of glasses! |

| So do you mean the dual carriageway road the one with the big Akay Optik/Garanti Bank? If so where does it open again Lapta side?

| According to CT and the Star, the planned road closures will NOT happen. The festival will, however, go ahead. |

| WOW a shopping fest..sounds great fun and I do wish that it all goes well..I will be in town at the Windows Cafe 11.30 am Looking for sponsors for Ismails charity event, so if you see me please give even just a little goes a long way and soon mounts up..If you would rather not just please be polite..see you their
