I have hired cars in the North and also from the South to the North .

We even managed to get full insurance from South to North ,but my one worry has always been breakdown/recovery ?



Does anyone in the North offer a recovery service -in fact would it not make sense for a North recovery company to liaise with a South hire company and charge a standard fee to cover this ?

i do not think so not yet x That's the reason rental companies here wont offer you a car that can go south, They can and can pay the insurance but in case of a breakdown they cant get help to get it back.
