Just went to my local bank to get some Lira for when we are out nex week. The best rate they offer was 2.09!!



I just checked the exchange rate and it is sitting at 2.30!!!



Does anyone no what rate you are getting at the exchange across from the Dome Hotel

Don't know about the one opposite the Dome but someone was recommending Tesco on the internet. They were offering a better rate than anywhere here at the time.

Just across from the Dome was the best rate just over a week ago. 2.31 max.

hi guys i just got back from trnc last night,the best rate i could get was 2.24 and that was in the town center about half way down the one way part on your right,been there so many times but for some reason never looked at the name of place.

Tesco and Travelex are quoting 2.14 for sterling exchange to Lira



I have read several times on the forum that you always get a better rate in Girne

Never buy TL in UK, you will always get a better rate here. For immediate use change sterling is acceptable most place and exchanges are open 7 days.



As for current rate, impossible to say day to day it is up and down like a ****** draws!!
