Well today was our first day of teaching Line dancing at Anafartala High School in Girne. Great Success. They want us to do more days but we can not do that because we are busy Three days a week with class lessons. Now Thursdays at the high school. And we are getting old now well I am, so we do need a break now and again.

The other thing I forgot to share with you is that coming back from the UK the other week we were waiting for our cases and watching the advertising TV and There we were on it. At Bellapais advertising Line dancing. fame at last. Thank you Maria for coming with us to help teach the children KLDS

So very nice to mix with polite teenagers who can be bothered to give up their free time to learn our western dances, and they were so good, especially the young men, roll on next week.

Well done the KLD and how wonderful that the Turkish Cypriot children are so excited and eager to learn. As their very own head teacher said she had never seen them look so happy. I have no doubt that within a short time they will be wanting to perform for the public with the very same enthusiasm as you all do. I am also very sure that their parents will be very proud,their school and also the Turkish community.

I did and I have I do hope that in time they will set up their own team, hats, shirts boots the Line Dancing look Perhaps even get sponsors to enable them too.... Then onto charity events.. And yes folks they were that enthusiastic about it all. I bet they are even putting in lots of practice just too surprise us.
